Customikes Phantom Miniature Mercury Wagon Radical Custom
Owned by K. Mikael Wallin, this all out Kustom Mini Merc Led Sled, is being built from a 1964 Volvo 122 s Estate Wagon. Steve Graves (owner of the
56 ranchwagon mild custom) assisted us with getting her mechanically up and running and stopping from a 20 year or so sleep. Today we gave her some new whitewall shoes, on red rims, chrome trim rings with tall bullet lug nuts. We also got so excited that we took some pix and started cutting the paper up... Here's a couple of base line pix to give you an idea of where we started. More pix as we come along .

Here she is a paper version with a radical cut, 2 door HT conversion and lowering job! I know I wish I was better with the design programs ;-)
These three pix are the -64 Estate Wagon sitting in the mountains for 6 years after we acquired her. The pix on the right is the donor car for the 5" longer doors quarter panels and roof.
Most of the reason for me to build this one is that I started a similar Wagon project in Sweden in the early 80's but it got lost in my parent's divorce and went to the crusher. Here's a few 49-51 Kustom Merc's that also inspired me.
