When it comes to awesome car shows,
NorCal has one of the best.
Each one of us has our favorites, and at the top of my list is the NorCal Knockout Nostalgic Rock and Roll Car and Bike Show. Held annually at the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo California on the first weekend in July. July 2, 2016 will be the 7th year of the show and it just keeps getting better.
Year after year this show keeps evolving, with this year being no exception. The newly added a Pedal Car Build Off should prove to be very cool. With local artists and car clubs competing. Other favorites like the moustache contest, hosted by Love B Sinclair, and the NorCal Knockout Hall of Fame draw in the crowds every year. This is a truly a family friendly car show and what better way to celebrate our Independence Day Weekend than with Hotrods, friends and good food!
The show has grown in size every year so get there early. With hundreds of Pre 1970 Traditional Hot Rods, Kustoms, Bombs, Lowriders, Gassers, Nostalgic Race cars, and 40’s – 60’s style Choppers, Bobbers, & Cafe Racers, turning out to visit with old friends, and make new ones. There will be great music and vendors as well as an awesome trophy give away with most if not all of the trophies hand made by local artist and car clubs.
Customikes will be there too, so there is also a good chance that your car or bike may be photographed and posted on Customikes. So bring it!
