Seal Beach clean, classic, fun car show.

As I walked up to the Seal Beach classic car show. I was quite surprised and impressed with it. Very surprised that it is not fenced off and that it is open to all. The first person I met and had quite the conversation with is Bob Salazar. He is quite the guy. He is a carpenter. From building houses to fiber-glassing Corvettes at the body shop he worked at as a young lad. What started us speaking is Bob has his Marines shirt and hat on. One said retired. Bob expressed part of his life story to me. He is pictured next to his Ford T bucket. He built and painted it himself. Even made the fiberglass cover. You may notice he has two purple hearts on his hat. He was wounded twice in one night. For him it was apart of the job. Apart of what he needed to do. He kept going after each incident. I am grateful for all that wear their retired shirt or hat. That I may thank them. Anyone in the military means a lot.

There were many clean cars here. Lots of paint that shined. The show was well put together. There were a lot of motorcycles. Multiple bands playing at once. One of my favorite cars was there is the Ford GT-40. The cars themselves were the center of attention over the ocean for me. The scenery of the Seal Beach store fronts with the cars was incredible.

I do want to thank Vince Bodiford and all those participated in preparing and running the show. I want to thank all the military men and women that helped parked the cars in free parking on the Navy Post. Everyone spent their day taking care of others to put on a wonderful show.
